WATERS has been a family-owned business for over 88 years (currently in its 4th generation), opening our doors in 1938. We are a dealer for International Trucks and IC School Buses (Prestige Certified), Collins Buses, Maintainer Service Trucks/Bodies, Jerr-Dan Wreckers/Carriers, Idealease Truck Rental/Leasing, several different Trailer Lines, and all the parts and services that go with them. We also have several contracts for plant and facilities maintenance. WATERS has 7 locations around Mississippi and as we continue to go, we're looking to add dedicated team members to become a part of our family! • Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner
• Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner, and answer any questions visitors have
• Maintain reception area and all common areas in a clean and tidy manner at all times
• Operate standard office equipment on a regular basis, including a multi line phone system, copy machine, computer, and fax machine
• Keep detailed and accurate records of visitor requests and of calls received
• Receive deliveries; sort and distribute incoming mail
• Take inventory of supplies and restock as needed
• Maintain the general office filing system
• Digital data input
• Other duties in the accounting office as needed. This could include AR/AP document preparation and some basic work in the Dealer Management System (DMS)
• Proficient use Microsoft Office Software (Outlook, Word, Excel)

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in an office environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software
• Able to type 35 wpm minimum
• Strong phone skills
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English
• Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Punctual with strong attendance history
• Strong work ethic
• Team mindset
• Having some background with standard AR/AP processes is beneficial
